Furniture Design References

I thank you, and Dave is very impressed with the construction of the unit and the hardware that was used.

You delivered to me a piece of furniture so very similar to the one I purchased in Germany, and which was destroyed during our next few military moves.

I never had a piece of furniture ?built? in my life. Actually I was scared to death to do it when I started, but I wanted what I had and lost, back.

You built something for me that I never thought I would see in my home again. Doug, you were so easy to work with and I was actually surprised with the quick turn-around updated drawings; and you were a great ?advisor? during this project. This was the point I knew I chose the right Company to build this for me. You told me the good and bad of all my decisions so I had a clear understanding of what I was asking for; and making decisions on. But you never let me make a decision you knew would not work towards what I wanted.

My new piece is here now and I can't stop looking at it or walking by and touching it. All the items I hold dear in my heart and life can finally be taken out of storage boxes. And I can now look at them or get to them every day.

What great craftsmanship. I believe if this was the piece of furniture I purchased in Germany in the early 1980?s I wouldn't have had to seek a company such as yours to build me another one.

I can?t possibly begin to tell you how pleased Pat and I are with the dining room table you designed and created for us. The entire process, from our initial meeting to the delivery of the piece, was seamless.

As you know, the cypress you used was given to me by my father, who had it pulled from the bottom of the Apalachicola River (as a deadhead) about 45 years ago. Before meeting you, we searched for six years to find the right person to make the table. We wanted someone creative and talented who would understand and appreciate what we were trying to do. As my husband kept saying, ?We?re only going to get to do this once?.

The finished product is beautiful beyond our wildest dreams. I could not possibly have imagined the table you conceptualized, designed and created. It is a work of art.

I saw my father over the last weekend and showed him pictures of the finished table. As I told you, he?s a retired forester with a very unique appreciation for the wood you used. He could not believe how beautifully the table turned out. He was quite impressed with the originality and beauty of the piece, and the way you worked with the wood to bring out its full potential.

Again, thank you so much for all you did to make a dream come true. I look forward to working with you on more pieces in the future!

Dear Doug,

Thanks for building the oak TV/media cabinet for me. I know it was difficult copying all of those tricky moldings exactly, but you did a really nice job ? other furniture makers wouldn?t even try. Your willingness to make changes to match my existing cabinets was the key to your success and is much appreciated.

Now that I?ve used it for a while, I am pleased to report that it looks and works great. I?ll be happy to recommend you to others needing this type of custom furniture work.

Dear Doug:

We have been so highly impressed with all the work you have done for us that we wanted to write and thank you for your hard work and professionalism.

The Chippendale bench and chairs that you made for us are so pretty and yet sturdy; the black patent settee that you repaired and repainted looks like new!

However, your best work was done on the pair of teak horses that had severe termite damage and had begun to rot; the way you rebuilt the feet, got rid of the termites and refinished them made the horses look better than when we bought them in France. In particular, we were very impressed with the handcrafted bases you made that would allow them to remain poolside and not be exposed to standing water.

We will certainly highly recommend your workmanship to anyone. Thank you so much!
